Meet Our Members: Kadee Harcrow

meet our membersKadee Harcrow is one of our newest members, having joined the Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS in May of this year (2015). She says that her parents taught her at an early age that it doesn’t matter how much you have, there is always room to give, adding “I love children and have worked in the medical field for most of my life, so AMBUCS was a great fit for me, and Don Lynn (current club President) would NOT stop harassing me every Monday until I joined!”
Kadee works in Marketing at Assurance Diagnostic Labs (ADL), a medical lab specializing in 55 panel urine drug screens designed to assist physicians and other medical facilities in maximizing patient care. She tells us ADL also provides genetic testing for many different cancers, assisting physicians in diagnosing early and saving lives with prevention and knowledge
“I was an X-ray Tech for 25 years before jumping to the dark side….sales!” , but Kadee also shared that she played the bass guitar in the never-famous 80’s band “Invasion”. “I keep my inner Rockstar to myself – most of the time – be thankful!” She loves camping, trail riding in the family ATV, traveling, and reading.
Kadee considers herself still a newlywed, “having been married to my sweet Ronnie for just over one year.” Ronnie has 3 children – Kelee 28, Cameron 27, and Kelci 16 (a Jr. at Coronado), while Kadee has 2 children – Kayla 25 (a Sr. at West Texas A&M), and Colton 21 (a Sophomore at Texas Tech).
They have 2 grandbabies – Jaxson and Kambry, that Kadee says keep them entertained. “We also love our 2 Weenie dogs, Gus and Gertie, and recently inherited a Chihuahua, Rambo, from my Mama.” When everyone is home she says it is most definitely a 3 ring circus, but she grew up in a family of 7 “so this is no big deal!” Kadee has lived in Lubbock her entire life, and told us, “If you knew a Loper, most likely they are related!”
When asked about her goals, Kadee says, “I am working with a start-up company and would really like to see the business grow to be a huge success! This would then allow me to travel more! My dream is to see all 50 states and I have a long way to go.”
