Meet our Members: Subodh Patel

Subodh Patel was sponsored by Natu Patel, in 1994. His main reason for joining Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS was to contribute to the community and to those in need. Subodh is self-employed and operates various hotels in Lubbock, Center Pointe Event Center, and the two Einstein Bros Bagels. He reports he enjoys the freedom of being self-employed to where he isn't tied down to a desk all day. Subodh is also on the Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS Board of Governors for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

Subodh and his wife Gita, have been married for 35 years. They have a grown daughter, Roshni, who lives in the Kansas City area. Of course, she is now a BIG CHIEFS fan. Roshni works in the health wellness field. They have a grown son, Kamal, who lives in Washington, DC. Kamal works in the U.S. Congress as an assistant Chief of Staff for a Congressman's office. Subodh stated, "No...he hasn't turned a Washington Football Team fan...Still a Cowboys fan".

Subodh's past time is reading, trying out new recipes, watching sports and enjoying western movies. His goals are to travel, visit friends and relatives.
