Meet Our Members: Dr. Alyssa Tochterman

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Alyssa Tochterman has joined us as our newest member! Her dedication to medicine, public health, and community wellbeing makes her an inspiring addition to our team.

Dr. Tochterman is a physician who cares for patients at Combest Central, while also serving the broader community through her work with Lubbock Public Health. She currently holds the role of Deputy Health Authority for the City of Lubbock, where she plays a vital part in guiding public health initiatives and ensuring the wellbeing of our neighbors.

Her passion for improving health doesn’t stop at her day-to-day work. Dr. Tochterman is actively pursuing her master’s degree in public health, further equipping herself with the tools to make lasting change in our community.

Dr. Tochterman finds joy in reading and spending time with her family. She is married to Jerred, and together they share a full and happy life with their one child and two dogs.

Her Mission At the heart of everything she does is a clear mission: to improve community health. Whether through patient care, public health leadership, or her ongoing studies, Dr. Tochterman embodies the values of compassion, service, and progress.
