amtryke recipients people weve helpedOn June 13, 2022, Olivia Anders received her very own AMTRYKE. This was a special event for giving this AMTRYKE as it was in memory of Natu Patel, who was a lifelong member of the Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS. Natu's family, Olivia's family, her Physical Therapist, and members from the Ambility Committee were all present for this AMTRYKE giveaway.
Olivia is a classmate to President Bobby Sanders' grandson, and it was at the school awards ceremony, where Bobby met Olivia and her family. Bobby being the AMBUC MEMBER that he is, told Olivia's family about the Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS AMTRYKE PROGRAM. Once they heard about the AMTRYKE PROGRAM, they were on-board and extremely excited in knowing Olivia could qualify to receive an AMTRYKE at no cost to the family.
Olivia was so excited in receiving her AMTRYKE that she road it around the room during the rest of the luncheon meeting. As you can see, it takes many people for an AMTRYKE recipient to receive their much-needed therapeutic tryke.
