AMTRYKE RECIPIENT: Grayson Tarin

Amber Nichols, PT/DPT with Team UMC: Neuro and Pediatric Center, referred Grayson Tarin to the Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS' AMTRYKE PROGRAM. With the assistance of Amber, this vivacious 3-year-old received his own hand and foot AMTRYKE on August 12, 2023.

Grayson has been developmentally delayed since early infancy. When he walks he currently requires a posterior walker. In his PT sessions, they work on improving his walking. According to Amber a bike would help strengthen his legs and arms, resulting on improving his endurance for walking. As you can see in the above photo, he is excited about his AMTRYKE.

This AMTRYKE was given to Grayson at no cost because of our sponsors, members, donations and our SummerFest fundraiser event. As you can see, it takes many people for an AMTRYKE recipient to receive their much-needed therapeutic tryke.
