amtryke recipients people weve helped

At our Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS Monday luncheon meeting on 06/12/2023, a 1412 Pro-Series AMTRYKE was given to an 8-year-old, Birdie Jordan. Birdie is a very sweet and active girl, who recently showed interest in riding a "bicycle" like her sister. Birdie is a developmentally delayed child who is in kindergarten, and she struggles with bilateral coordination, balance, and is unable to use a traditional tricycle.

Her physical therapist, Jackie Hacker, recommended the 1412 Pro-Series with accessories to increase Birdie's function, so she could play and increase her independence. This AMTRYKE will allow her to have a fun activity and will improve all the coordination targets she works on in her therapy sessions.

Birdie's AMTRYKE was given to her at no cost because of our sponsors, members, donations and our SummerFest fundraiser event. As you can see, it takes many people for an AMTRYKE recipient to receive their much-needed therapeutic AMTRYKE. To become involved in the Lubbock Monterey Chapter of AMBUCS, you can DONATE NOW or become a SPONSOR. Come on out and JOIN US at one of our Monday meetings to see what we are all about. We are the Lubbock Monterey Chapter of AMBUCS: Proud of our past...Engaged in our present...and, excited about our future. As it was in 1960...and as it still is today...We stand ShouldersTogether!!! Happy riding, Birdie!!
