55th Club Anniversary & Christmas Party

updates general newsWe had a great turnout on Thursday, December 10, at the beautiful home of Rollo and Cindy Gurss, as we celebrated not only our club’s Annual Christmas Party, but also the 55th Anniversary of our Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS Club.
The evening began with a tremendous buffet feast, prepared to usual perfection by Cindy Gurss.
The fabulous food and drink was enjoyed, along with lots of great fun and fellowship, by everyone!
The evening wrapped up with a Chinese Gift Giving, where each person drew a number and, as gifts were selected from those brought, you could choose to keep the one you selected or “steal” the gift of someone who had already selected previously.
The gift “stealing” provided some tense and interesting, but extremely fun moments, with some folks putting in an extra effort to “get rid” of the gifts they got.
The evening was a great way to wrap up our club’s calendar year, while kicking off the second half of our fiscal year, and if you didn’t make it, you were missed, and we look forward to everyone’s coming next year.
