Meet our Members: Vickie Bunting

meet our membersVickie Bunting is one of our newest members who joined us in April, 2021. She was sponsored by Donna Shattuck. Vickie recently retired from being a full-time teacher (33 years). She creatively taught English, History, and Film Analysis. Currently, she substitutes at Lubbock High, Hutchison, and for the County Law Library. In addition she also gives the AP tests at All Saints, and sells artwork.
Vickie's interesting fact about her is, her sister, brother, and she were born in different states; however, they were were all born on a Thursday. For her favorite past-time, Vickie reads, watches movies, going to plays and concerts, traveling, going to garage sales and creating art. Vickie has many talents as she does glassblowing, glass fusing and clay. Vickie's goals is to continue to travel and enjoy her friends and family.
Vickie joined Lubbock Monterey Ambucs, because Bob and Donna Shattuck always spoke highly of AMBUCS and the good work it does for the community.
