amtryke recipients people weve helpedOn November 8, 2021, Zander Mungia received his very own Amtryke. Zander was referred to Lubbock Monterey Chapter of AMBUCS by Kelly Gomez, Physical Therapist from UMC Neuro and Pediatric Center. Zander is described as a lively 3 year old who is working on his walking with a reverse walker, increasing his standing tolerance and improving his strength. Kelly recommended Zander for an AMTRYKE to increase his mobility and allow him to ride his tryke with his brother. We appreciate and say "thank you" to Keith and Paula Bradley for being sponsors for Zander's Amtryke, and The Community Foundation of West Texas for refurbishing expenses to bring the AMTRYKE to a "like new" condition.
