amtryke recipients people weve helpedElena is a vibrant 14-year-old with Down syndrome who has faced significant challenges with her knees, making it difficult for her to stay active. Despite many attempts, walking and pedaling a regular bike have been tough for her, causing increased pain.
But today, we have wonderful news! Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Maxine Durrett Earl Charitable Foundation, Elena received her very own Amtryke at no cost. This adaptive tricycle will allow her to be active without the added pain, helping her strengthen her muscles and enjoy the freedom of movement.
Seeing Elena's joy and excitement as she rode her new Amtryke was truly heartwarming. We are so grateful for the support that makes moments like these possible. Let's continue to come together as a community to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
