amtryke recipients people weve helpedToday we had the absolute joy of watching Collins, a bright and determined 2‑year‑old, receive her very own Amtryke — generously sponsored by American Bank of Commerce.
Collins has spina bifida and, in her short life, has already powered through two spinal surgeries and two foot surgeries. But if you’ve met her, you know nothing slows this girl down.
She first tried an Amtryke during therapy a few weeks ago in Florida and she LOVED it. Today at our luncheon, she hopped on her new tryke and rode up and down the hallway with the biggest smile.
Now she’ll get to ride right alongside her sisters, and the joy that brings her is something you can feel in the room.
